Sing and dance your way through our Musical TheatreCamp, brought to you by SummerStage and Sudbrink Performance Academy!

Learn songs, scenes, and dances from a wide variety of musical theatre, spanning decades from the classics to contemporary Broadway. Find your inner star while developing individual performance skills, working together as a team, and stage presence. Kids of all ages and abilities will have a blast at this camp, producing a spectacular final showcase performance for family and friends!

This week long camp will cover many areas of musical theatre, including:
  • singing
  • dancing
  • acting
  • stage direction
  • character study
  • stage presence
  • teamwork
  • auditioning tips
  • final showcase performance
  • and more!

Please note that there will be a maximum of 30 registrants on a first come, first served basis. Musical selections will be divided up among registrants based on age, ability, or randomly grouped. To register, please click on the registration button below.  If you have any questions, call the SummerStage office at (262) 337-1560.  Registration deadline is Monday, June 4, 2018.

Times: Monday through Friday, 9 am – 3 pm, with a 30-45 minute performance on Friday starting at 3 pm.

Workshop & play are FREE

Summit Players workshops are focused on Shakespeare’s use of nature in his plays and general theatre practices. They play games, work with text, and explore the natural world through the lens of Shakespeare’s words. Members of the company work with the the kids (and fun adults), spending time learning about how fun Shakespeare can be, and trying to alleviate any “iambic pentajitters.”  The workshops are approximately 45 minutes long, and presented prior to each performance.

Summit Players Workshop

The play is “A COMEDY OF ERRORS” ~ 7:00PM

Catch the Summit Players’ brand new production of Shakespeare’s THE COMEDY OF ERRORS with BIG LAUGHS, BIG CHARACTERS, AND BIG FUN!

The goal is to use theatre as a learning medium and introduce children to a love of language, communicating, and constructive play, while providing adults with an enjoyable family experience.

The workshops & play are free of charge.
