Dousman Winterfest 2019: Charlie Brown & Snoopy | Santa Comes to Dousman
Dec 1 @ 12:00 pm – 5:30 pm

All are invited to visit downtown Dousman on Sunday, December 1st for a favorite annual tradition! Santa comes to town at 4:30 PM, but the whole day will be filled with festive, holiday fun!

Our committee and many Chamber businesses have put together a full day of events, including:

🎅 Famous Chili/Soup Contest – Taste them all at area businesses (Dousman House, Bark River Tree Service, Edward Jones, Chamberlains by Juls, Corner Stop, Bicycle Doctor, Lions Club, Bullfrog Station, Western Lakes Fire Dept, Dousman Masonic Lodge, Your Great Escape Salon, and Accurate Graphics) and cast your vote for your favorite in the ballot boxes

🎅 Kid’s Activities & Toy Train Display at the Masonic Lodge – headquarters for the scavenger hunt (pick up your card and visit ten local businesses to fill your card!), cookies, hot cocoa, and crafts.

🎅 Ice sculptors at locations along Main Street – watch them throughout the day as they transform from blocks of ice to beautiful sculptures! See if you can guess what they’ll become.

🎅 Santa’s Bicycle Ride Parade through Dousman – starting at Bicycle Doctor at 12 noon and riding north on Main Street (meet at Bike Doc at 11:30 AM)

🎅 Christmas Carolers outside of Edward Jones

🎅 Craft fair – Village hall and Fine Line Studio

🎅 Face painting in the Lions Community Center

🎅 Horse-drawn carriage rides (two carriages running up and down Main)

🎅 Caricatures at Dousman Laundry

🎅 Noon – Packer game on at the Community Center – bar open during the game

🎅 4:30 PM – Santa Comes to the Lions Community Center via Fire Truck – be sure to shop the 4H bake sale, too!

What a great way to kick off the holiday season! Want to help make it happen? We are still accepting financial support through sponsorships and seeking volunteer help! Click here for the sponsorship form! You’re invited to participate in either of these ways and earn excellent exposure for your business. Contact Jane: 262.719.0157

We are looking forward to lots of people in town on December 1st, sharing holiday spirit and making lasting memories with their families!
