All are welcome to this book discussion. We will read the book Think Again by Adam Grant. 2024 promises to be a year full of disagreement and conflict as we study the serious topics facing us in the April, August and November elections. As we all try to find the right way forward, have we paused to ask, “How do I decide what is right?”
Think Again by Adam Grant aims to do just that. While not advocating for a particular position or belief, Grant walks people through how we make our decisions, and how we rethink them. In a year that could bring stress and turmoil, how can we instead work to discuss the issues that matter so deeply to us with compassion and love? Without trying to bend people to our position, how can we objectively look at our own beliefs and values, reexamining them as necessary.
Three Pillars (314 East Village Court) is hosting three discussions on:
April 30 (discussion will focus on the first section, comprised of four chapters)
May 1 (discussion will focus on the second section)
May 8 (discussion will focus on the final section)
We will have a light meal at 5:30 p.m., followed by a discussion at 6 p.m.
I hope you will grab a copy and join us.
