26th Annual Halloween Haunted Woods at Three Pillars!

Parking available at Dousman Elementary (341 E. Ottawa Avenue Dousman, WI 53118 )

Join us for this unforgettable FREE community trick-or-treat event!

 

THE SCOOP:

Children 6th grade and under and their families are invited to walk through our amazingly decorated buildings and beautiful woods, enjoying different themes in each area across the campus. Three Pillars residents and staff will be present throughout, dressed in fun costumes and ready to hand out candy to the little ones trick-or-treating their way through.

Event occurs rain or shine. This event is all about FUN and not about SCARY. No tickets or registration necessary.

PARKING / SHUTTLE:

The evening begins at Dousman Elementary (Hwy 67 South to Hwy Z: 341 E Ottawa Ave, Dousman) where a FREE shuttle bus takes you to and from Three Pillars. The first bus loads and leaves the school at 5:30 PM; doors open at Three Pillars at 6:00 PM. The last bus will leave the school to head to Three Pillars at 7:45 PM. There is no parking available at Three Pillars for this event.

DON’T FORGET TO:

-Dress up and dress for the weather.

-Bring a candy bucket or use one of our bags, given at the entrance

-Wear good walking shoes.

-Pack the little ones up in a stroller or wagon (that you can load on the school bus shuttle) to make the walk simple.

-Bring a non-perishable food or monetary donation for our local food pantries, which will be collected before you get on the shuttle bus at Dousman Elementary.

“A Grinchy Christmas in Dousman” and Santa’s Visit!

It’s time for our famous Santa Comes to Dousman event, plus lots more fun!
Our theme for 2018 is “A Grinchy Christmas in Dousman,” and your family won’t want to miss this magical day of festivities.
Join us for this special day that draws people to our beloved Dousman.

The schedule of fun for Sunday, December 2nd will include:

? Famous Chili/Soup Contest – Yes, Chili or Soup at area businesses. Taste them all and cast your vote for your favorite in the ballot boxes by Chamberlain’s and Cornerstop.
? *NEW THIS YEAR* Wood Carvers Sat 12/1 & Sun 12/2 – With an auction Sunday at 3 PM at the Community Center! (Dousman Ottawa Lions Club Cookout – Saturday 12/1 from 11 AM – 1 PM)
? Kid’s Activities at the Masonic Lodge – headquarters for the scavenger hunt (pick up your map!), cookies, hot cocoa, and crafts.
? Ice sculptors at 10 locations along Main Street – watch them throughout the day as they transform from blocks of ice to beautiful sculptures! See if you can guess what they’ll become.
? 11:30 AM – Santa / Grinch Bike Ride Parade through Dousman – starting at Bicycle Doctor and riding north on Main Street. Wear a costume!
? 11:30 AM – 3 PM – Christmas Carolers on Main Street
? 11:30 AM – 4 PM – Arts & crafts vendors at the Village Hall
? 1 – 4 PM – Face painting at the Lions Community Center
? 1 – 4 PM – ***Horse-drawn carriage rides CANCELED due to expected rain***. Two small buses will run up and down Main Street to provide covered DRY transportation.
? 1 – 4 PM – Caricatures at Dousman Laundry
? 4:30 PM – Santa Comes to the Lions Community Center via Fire Truck – shop the 4H bake sale as well.

Join us for the Dousman Area Chamber of Commerce’s 2nd ever Touch-a-Truck event at Cory Park. Bring the whole family to explore construction equipment, farming implements, and trucks of all kinds! Get up close and see them from a perspective most never get a chance to do.
 
Local Dousman area businesses will also be showcased.
 
This event is FREE to the public. Concessions and raffle tickets will be available for sale (bring cash if you’re so inclined).

PRE-SALES for raffle tickets: $5 each – buy ahead of time at these local Dousman businesses: Corner Stop, Bullfrog Station, and Ixonia Bank.

We’re so excited to host Dousman’s first ever DOUSMAN BEER GARDEN!

Enjoy our beautiful community park with family and friends! View this event on our Facebook page to RSVP and share with friends!

Featuring six craft beers on tap from Brewfinity Brewing Co. and live music by Dobie the Concertina Man from 5-9 PM. We’ll have food and other beers/beverages for sale, too! We’ll accept cash or cards. Bring your own chairs. Please, NO carry-ins.
