scholarship, money, education, kettle moraine, dousman chamberWe are pleased to have awarded two $500 scholarships this year to two exemplary Dousman area graduates – Emily Pfaff and Michael Zuba –  through the Kettle Moraine Scholarship Foundation.

Emily Pfaff attended Dousman Elementary School, KM Middle School and KM Perform School for Arts and Performance. She was actively involved in the Drama Club, International Thespian Society and Tri-M Music Honor Society throughout her high school career, serving in 21 productions in various roles such as stage manager, wing manager and co-stage manager. Pfaff worked closely with KM staff to transform the high school theatre program stage management training to better mirror that of professional theatres. She will attend Millikin University this fall to participate in the Stage Management BFA program.

Michael Zuba attended Dousman Elementary School, KM Middle School and KM High School. He participated in Student Senate, Best Buddies and Link Crew, the freshman orientation program that assists new students in their transition to Kettle Moraine. Michael was paired one-on-one with a buddy this past year through Best Buddies to provide the buddy with unique social experiences. Zuba held a part-time job since the age of 15, working at Three Pillars Senior Living Communities as a dining service assistant and most recently as a sandwich artist at Subway. He plans to study marketing at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse this fall.

Congratulations to these outstanding graduates!
